Teflon tube and PTFE tube are the same product with different names. They are transliterations of the English name Teflon, also known as PTFE hose or fluoroplastic tube.

This material is also called polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), commonly known as the "King of Plastics". It is a polymer produced by polymerizing tetrafluoroethylene as a monomer. White waxy, semi-transparent, with excellent heat and cold resistance, it can be used long-term from -180°C to 260°C. PTFE is resistant to acids and alkalis and resistant to various organic solvents, almost insoluble in all solvents. It also has high temperature resistance and an extremely low friction coefficient, making it ideal for lubrication and as a coating for easy-to-clean inner pipe surfaces.

Teflon tube characteristics:

PTFE has a very low friction coefficient and is an excellent anti-friction and self-lubricating material. Its static friction coefficient is lower than its dynamic friction coefficient, making it ideal for bearings with low starting resistance and smooth operation. PTFE is non-polar, heat-resistant and non-absorbent, making it an excellent electrical insulating material with outstanding aging resistance, non-stick properties and flame retardancy.

Teflon tube applications:
